Homeschooling in Harmony is a welcoming space for families to come together, share stories of success and hardships we face in homeschooling, and find resources for their own homeschool.

Homeschooling In Harmony was started by Alex, a homeschooling mom of 4. When her oldest was in public school they faced many challenges that are common among those who keep their children home. He was an advanced learner bored of the slower pace, a social butterfly craving for connection, and a boy who needed to move. Traditional schooling was simply not a good fit! Alex and her family made the leap to homeschool and have not looked back since.

Through homeschooling her son's love of learning has returned as well as his want to read and discover how things work. The love of learning does not stop with him though. His sisters are coming of school age and are loving to learn to read, write, and explore the world around them.

When not working on academics, we love to hike, camp, fish, and connect with the outdoors in any way we can. We even have lessons outside when the feeling strikes!
